Before I get to our holidays I just have to post about my nephew, Alex. He participated in a Kids of Steel Triathalon (Swim 150 m, Bike 10 km, Run 2 km) on Saturday August 11, 2007 and came in third place for the age category of 10 and 11 year olds!!! He is 10!!! ( ok soon to be 11). :) This was his second triathalon!!! What a rock star!
Holiday.....
We had a wonderful week off. We rented a cabin on Whidbey Island and did some camping on Lake Cowichan with friends. This was our first trip to Whidbey Island. The little sea side town of Langley on Whidbey Island is very cute and worth a visit. We did lots of reading, relaxing and eating.
