I was recently reading a little book given to me from Kathryn called, "Adoption, Is Another Word For Love", and came across this quote:
"Somehow destiny comes into play. These children end up with you and you end up with them. It's something quite magical."

It made me think about all this waiting. I know once we hold Mary Anne in our arms we will certainly quickly forget about all this waiting and I know I will not wish we would have travelled 1, 2, 3 or even 6 months sooner. I will know this is the child God chose for us. So we have to wait...she isn't ready for us yet. :)
I saw this teddy bear at Target and I just had to get it. I like that word "chosen"... it says a lot.

Our children are reaching the age of asking "Why was I adopted?" or "Why was I given away?" I always tell them that God had a plan from the moment they were tiny and growing inside their birth mom's belly-He wanted them to start there but He always knew they would be our child and that this would be their family.
