We all went to bed at 8:00 and slept to 5:30! Mary Anne is also enjoying her bottle. We have figured it out! Thanks for all the great tips! She just had a bottle and is now having a little rest. :) Oh I just LOVE watching her take her bottle. She definitely likes her bottle hot. It is a big victory to figure that out! Every day we figure more and more out.
She had her first play date last night with Mai Ling. Mai Ling is going to live in Perth, Ontario. She just turned one. We are really enjoying the company of her mom, Emma and dad, Paul. She also has a sister, Lauren who is 8 and a brother, Johnathon who is 6. Her Uncle Andrew is also here. Mary Anne loves Lauren's attention! Last night we had dinner with two other families at the Chinese Restaurant on the first floor of our hotel. You walk around and pick what you want to eat. The fish are swimming in the fish tanks. Some other items on the menu which are displayed in a show case are....spiced goose stomach, spicey ox penis, ostrich (Iain did eat this), sauted silkworm puppae. Of course we choose to eat less exotic cuisine. Imagine seeing spicey ox penis and actually picking to eat that! :)

Today we spend the morning packing up and need to have our bags outside our room by 2:00 p.m. We leave for the airport at 3:00 p.m. It will be a late night arriving at our hotel in Beijing. It will be sad leaving Nanchang but we are also excited to be one step closer to home.

That was a great video. Nice to Iain being jumped on for a change. That little girl will pull it all over on you. You no longer have the upper hand. I think she has changed him already. Great job Mary Anne! I love you already!

Have a great trip to Beijing - it is another wonderful leg of the journey. I wonder if you will have Dr. Lucy Chen at the SOS centre. She is awesome. It will be fine to see what Mary Anne weighs etc.. Make sure to take a pic of her on the scale!
