I have very very sad news about Matthew. The little sweetheart passed away. He died yesterday (Wednesday) evening at 8:00 p.m. The hospital advised Amanda that there was blood in his lungs. He was a lot worse than we thought. It was a very sad day at Starfish. He didn't get a chance...sometimes the world doesn't seem fair. It is amazing that after only 5 days we were use to having him around. It was really hard to post this news but I know that a lot of people have been praying for Matthew. Thanks for your prayers. I will never forget this little guy.
I will post about my day at Starfish and all the little munchkins later! :)

Hopefully Matthew sensed a bit of love in his too short life and you can be proud that and your colleagues provided him with that while he was in your care.

Christine I am so sorry that Matthew did not make it. I know he only had you for a short time but I am sure you made a difference in his short life. You and Matthew will be in our prayers.
